Antibiotics and very fowl smelling bowels? Does that mean the medicine is working?

So I have to take an antibiotic for a issue i have called c diff,or whatever, and I took the medicine last night. after then i had a very foul smelling movement, and I was just wondering if that was the medicine? so do that mean the medicine is doing its job or what? Help! Thank you! :D
