Why we are looking at the celebrities?

Though their activies are not appreciatable, we are still looking at them. In India the Aishwarya Rai (Miss World) and Abhisekh Bachan were married though she is four years elder than Abhisekh. Previously Aishwarya was in love with VIvek Oberai and Salman Khan. Is it fair example for the world. But Indians voted them as No.1 Pair of the Year. But in US the people don't like the ex.president Bill Clinton to have affiar with his lady PA. I don't understand the peoples behaviour.
