What does this statement mean?

A while ago, circa March 2009, on Facebook I posted this as a status: "I feel like I'm playing Whack-A-Mole, like don't eat, don't eat, don't eat. And what are you doing with that soup?! Okay, soup can get a little cold." Does anyone know what that means? I'm seriously baffled by this status.
