I recieved a ticket for a 22107 VC violation. HELP!?

I drive a taxi and I was in the left lane when I had someone on the sidewalk call for me. So when I was about to turn to go to the right lane, I checked my rear view mirror and had a cop flash his head lights at me, so i thought that he meant for me to go ahead. When i turned to the right lane, he pulled me over and gave me a ticket for an unsafe turn infront of a police officer. How much would this be and would this be on my record? and SHOULD I GO TO COURT? I dont want this on my record so what should i DO? PLEASE HELP...thank you so much
