Regarding the 'consumer protection agency' being suggested to oversee the scam by the Federal Reserve....?

The Treasury Department - which is a real department of the U.S. Government unlike the privately owned Federal Reserve - claims rightfully that the Feds need overseeing. The Feds raised their hand to say they're the best ones suited for the job! Does it make sense to anyone that the thieves should be in charge of the locks?
