Why do immigration critics fail to consider how US Gov.-sponsored NAFTA deeply affected Mexican lower cles?

Immigration has skyrocketed since the liberalization of the Mex economy & NAFTA. BOTH The US Gov. and the elitist Mexican Gov. SPONSORED IT PIONATELY. Since the 1980s the US Gov. and the Mexican Gov. have heavily contributed to undermine the economic conditions of Mexican rural farmers and urban workers. It is no coincidence that immigration rates skyrocketed as wage levels and agricultural prices collapsed during the liberalization of the Mex. economy and trade (through NAFTA and US foreign investment). BOTH the US and Mex. Govs. unleashed a misery that produces social forces (e.g., immigration flows) which cannot be controlled or reduced by ethnic/racial resentment, by appealing to "sovereignty" or "legality," or by throwing blame. Mex.elites AND US immigr. critics FAIL TO understand that the BINATIONAL ABUSES of already impoverished peoples result in mive migration flows product of BINATIONAL POLICIES. PROBLEMS CREATED BINATIONALLY NEED BINATIONAL UNDERSTANDING/SOLUTIONS.
